I was born as white and pure
as the brightest paper
Unstained by thought and reflection
free from the abstract prison
untouched by emotional chains
What moves the pen is not the beating of the heart
it’s the passion in anxiety so violent.
stirs the waters of the mind
Inside the stillness of the stone
there is never a bleak moment
Now, an eternity later I stand detached.
Gazing at myself through the prism of time
A gathering of impressions
shading the whitest of papers
not so white anymore.

Debauchee

Tantalising sounds
Behind the gates of breath and down Chanting enticing whispers of a life Raised up above beyond the clouds.
Vers1.2
Far away
beyond the edge of the sea
you will be free
these whispers be guiding thee
All suffering will cease to be
you will see
If you but let me guide thee
Journeyed to a place without rules Fully unleashed I act the fool.
Yet for all my freedoms, I remain a slave Slave to my whims, comfort, passion-play.
Vers2.2
Self Indulging slave
morality slowly decaying
This pleasure Island feeding me
Transmuting the form of my being Self indulging slave
Glutinous lust I’m exuding
Still more I crave
Fuel for my own undoing
Self indulging slave
Seduced by the lips of a hedon
Unknowingly
Nurtured all the traits of a demon
Amplified dissonance
Spiraling down and out from grace
The divine ouroboros of suffering
A mistake I'll be rectifying.
Interlude
Spiting my maker
the all divine creator
all created imperfect won't endure
I’m the ender of light
I'm the undertaker

Bury me in Darkness
07:28
|
|||
The path that I once walked
Dissolved into mist
All is gone a droplet scorned
return me to the sea
dissolve, fade out and darkening
chasing the dream of a dream
The glow is dim, retrograding
the fruits of my life withering
Pens form words
no passion behind them
so return me to the sea
the gift of life squandered on me
Bury me in darkness
or embed me next to my favourite tree
lost as a barren thought
the dead don’t care x2
The ink has dried
my time grows near
a narrative dull and repetitive
a product of casuality
void of originality
the spark that failed to ignite in me
never my prerogative
a copy paste a total waste
I’m ready to be replaced
return me to the sea
Im home and i'm nothing
the gift of life squandered on me
a fleeting memory
Bury me in darkness
or embed me next to my favourite tree
lost as a barren thought
the dead don’t care x2

Diaphanous Wife
05:32
|
|||
Frail and stretched thin
worn and jaded my glow dim
sunlight awakens me
to a world of forced retching
Judging eyes find my form
as i walk hand in hand
with my diaphanous wife
and i must ask, why was man not born
with the carelessness of the drunkard?
Or the apathy of the high?
Why was man not born with the confidence of cocaine? Or the sleepiness of opium
I salute another man in the gutter
a kindred spirit of suffering
to afraid to bare the burden of being
yet to afraid to die
in love with that self proclaimed prophecy
that haunts the mirror of every hour and day

Celestial Star

Vers 1:
Heed, the whispers of the trees
in their winds, the ancient knowledge
of trickling streams and the mighty mountains
drowned out by the boom of bombs
Muddied by trash and obscured from view
Ref:
Celestial star of the night
blow your winds upon me
and make me as weightless and light
as only those
unmarred by gravity
and insight
Vers 2
Frantic noise mechanistic engine roars
conducts the rhythmic swing of my undoing
severs oneself from a self reflecting being
programmed droid complacent humanoid
Ref:
Celestial star of the night
blow your winds upon me
and make me as weightless and light
as only those
unmarred by gravity
and insight

Omnus Drammen, Norway
Omnus was formed in 2019 when composer and pianist Ola Moum reached out to the guitarist Christian Foldal with a
collaboration proposition. Together they would try to combine Ola's classical influences with the new-age metal sound of Christian's guitar playing
to something new. Through friends, the band joined forces with singer and producer Geir Wetterhus of the band Assimilate/Geigerteller.
